above is a photo from the 2004 annual balloon rally which is usually around July 4th weekend.  Unlike the well known balloon fiesta in Albuquerque, ours is "up close and personal".  Our site can accommodate around 30 balloons and the crowd can mingle with the balloonists.  Visitors are often invited to help and participate in the ballooning.   To the left is the flag display at the County Building World War II Memorial site.
